It is with great pleasure that we welcome Lynda Greuel to our Associate Team as an Event Planner and Project Coordinator on a contracting basis.
An event planner you say? Are we in the business of planning events? Not per se, and certainly not “personal” events like family gatherings or weddings. But we often need to do plan events for our clients, as it can be a key part of a marketing program.
For example, a grand opening, a re-branding celebration, community relations event are all part of a marketing program. Or, how about finding the best way to design and market a seminar, a lunch & learn, a trade show or a conference? Even focus groups require some event planning, and getting the event conceived and executed for best results is an art and a science. So this makes event planning a key part of many marketing programs.
So why Lynda? Because she is the best! We first got to work with Lynda on a furniture store grand opening in fall 2014 for one of our clients. She did an outstanding job, thinking of every detail, and personally attending to our client’s every need. The truth is, although event planning might sound “fun” – it can be very stressful getting people invited, RSVP’d, greeted, fed and made happy in just the right atmosphere. Lynda takes her 30 years experience, and years of honing her own checklists and resources — and can handle any kind of event efficiently and professionally.
