Market Research, Strategy, and Marketing Specialist

Jacqueline Drew is a market research, strategy and marketing specialist with over 30 years’ experience across hundreds of clients in a multitude of industries.

Her key strengths are leadership, market research, strategy, creative development and sales techniques …but she is probably better described as a person with terrific perception, tactful honesty, zany charisma, and exceptional creativity.

Jacqueline began her career with a blended role in sales and marketing at a custom manufacturing business based in Calgary. She then moved into an Account Manager position with Eastman Kodak until 1995, when she took the remainder of the next year off to become a mother.

She founded her marketing agency in June of 1996 (then called Start Marketing) and rebranded it in 2011 to Tenato Strategy. “I haven’t had a real job since 1995,” she says, but with hundreds of clients across Canada over decades of consulting, it has indeed been a very large job.

A double-graduate of the University of Calgary (BComm 1992, MBA 2011) she continually improves her skills in business, marketing and many other disciplines through lifelong learning. Leadership Communication Certificate from Harvard? Sure. Jazz theory? Check. The latest in digital SEO? Of course.

In addition to her role at Tenato, Jacqueline is a very happily married wife of 29 years, and a proud mother of two accomplished entrepreneurial adults.  

She often volunteers often in her community, usually musically – even starting her own community entertainment series during COVID called Community Isobreaker, which helped to lift community spirit during the pandemic, and was recognized in the media and the Alberta Legislature.

As the founder and driver of all things Tenato, she works extremely hard to use her superpowers to “help the good guys win.”
